Case Study 2: Corden Manufacturing
In 2007, the Corden Group decided to develop a new company, Corden Manufacturing, to produce concrete blocks. “We had planned to make a conventional external yard area of concrete” said Tony Trevethick, the Group Finance Director. But because the area was large (1.5 acres), the planning department insisted that underground tanks were installed to store excess rain water. This was going to add £300 000 to the project cost! An alternative solution had to be found.
Case Study 1: Vauquiedor Farm
The installation at Vauquiedor Farm was to produce additional car parking spaces for the client, was successfully completed in January of this year. John Wild commented on the product “there was a considerable saving of between 35-50% saving on the installation of gridforce against other traditional methods”.
