Description
Helical Binders are available as an optional extra and may be used for vertical joints, with lacing wire for horizontal joints. Helical Binders are available at an additional cost, please enquire with Corden directly. Adjacent panels are joined together by winding the helical down the mesh. Only use one helical for assembly when jointing to an adjacent unit. At the top and bottom end of the helical, the last coil must be turned vertically through 90 degrees to prevent the helical from moving.
Full height helical binders for the vertical joints for gabion installation and assembly are of a nominal 3.00mm wire diameter in accordance with BS EN 10218-2:2012 and have a minimum tensile strength 350 N/mm2.
