OneGym in Consett Business Park, County Durham needed to expand their car park, while ensuring it was safe and easily accessible for their customers and the occasional heavy delivery vehicle.
1200m2 of Gridforce HL40 was chosen as the ground reinforcement solution due to it’s ability to take on regular, heavy-weight traffic, including maintenance vehicles and fork-lift traffic.
In-Charge Construction installed this project swiftly and ahead of time. The team carried out full ground removal, added multiple sub-bases, our Gridforce HL40 grid and finished with stone to complete the project.
The contractor was very satisfied with the end result and stated that this is now their ‘go-to’ ground reinforcement grid product which they will continue to use in future projects.
The new OneGym location opens in late September 2025 with extensive car parking, thanks to Gridforce!
By expanding the car park from 31 to 121 spaces, the facility is now ready to welcome their new customers and accept deliveries.
